WHO IS TEX BARKER

Tex Barker is an entrepreneur and marketing architect based in Manhattan Beach, California. Before founding and scaling companies, he cut his teeth in Mexican politics, running marketing campaigns for candidates through 2015. After that, he pivoted hard into business—building, operating, and selling brands that moved millions by pairing sharp strategy with relentless execution.

Tex has launched and exited several six- and seven-figure ventures, including Velitex Real Estate Group; Night Owl Liquors (a pre-UberEats era liquor-delivery startup); Barker Publishing (founded in 2018 and sold in 2024, growing to 33 employees while serving independent authors); and Ozean Charters, an online yacht and private-jet charter company in Cabo built and sold in 2025. Across every venture, his edge has been full-stack growth mastery: Google Ads, SEO, geo-targeting, online funnels, content engines, AI automations, and AI-driven media production.

He’s also an author. His first children’s book, Jax To The Rescue (2021), follows Jax—his real dog—on missions to help stray dogs find loving homes, inspired by the Res-Q-Us Foundation, a 501(c)(3) he co-founded. His next title, Waves of Friendship, about an 8-year-old surfer named Luk and a talking turtle, Tiko, is slated for late 2025.

In 2025, Tex and his sister, Denisse Barker, launched Barker Brothers LLC—BarkerBros.ai—a tribute to their father, Arthur Barker, who passed away from COVID in 2020. The agency builds high-end campaigns, media productions, and AI automations for mid-market and enterprise teams ready to scale.

Born in Mexico City in 1986, Tex has lived in Mexico City, Querétaro, Cabo, Los Angeles, and Santa Monica. Off the clock, he’s a snowboarder and golf enthusiast who still believes the best marketing is simple: find the truth, tell it well, and measure everything.
